About Montana 406 Tours

Built in Montana. Guided with purpose. Driven by service.

About Me

My name is Eugene — born and raised right here in Big Sky Country, Montana. I grew up the good old country-boy way: wide-open spaces, dirt roads, campfire nights, and more days spent in the mountains than anywhere else. The outdoors isn’t just something I enjoy — it’s a part of who I am.

I’m also a proud United States Marine Corps veteran. My time in the service taught me discipline, grit, and the importance of taking care of the people around me. Those lessons guide everything I do, especially when it comes to helping folks experience the Montana wilderness safely and confidently.

From hiking deep into the Absarokas to camping under the stars in the Beartooths, I’ve spent a lifetime exploring this state’s backcountry. I know the land, the weather, the wildlife, and the quiet magic you can only find when you step off the beaten path.

Montana 406 Tours is my way of sharing that experience with others — whether you’re looking for a peaceful hike, an unforgettable camping trip, or just a chance to reconnect with nature. Out here, the pace slows down, the air gets a little cleaner, and the world feels a whole lot simpler.
